Karen Hansen
Vice President, Media and Production


As head of Media, Karen lays out a strategy for each client, recommending the best media choices for the client's objectives and detailing the expected results of this exposure. By researching and analyzing thousands of media outlets and considering them in context with client needs, she makes sure every client's ad runs in the best place at the best time for the best price.

In Production, Karen supervises the agency's relationships with outside vendors such as printers, recording studios and advertising specialty companies, making sure every vendor gives our clients the best value possible. She also supervises quality control for the outside production of all work.

Karen joined M/C/C as media director in 1996. Previously, she served as Sales Manager at Adam Young, Inc., where she represented the company's television stations to ad agency clients. Karen also worked as a broadcast buyer for Ward Communications and BJK&E media group.

She holds a bachelor's degree in Advertising from the University of Texas.
